Houston Cinema Arts Society offers internship opportunities for college students year-round. Areas of emphasis include marketing, outreach, non-profit administration, development and fund-raising, technical assistance, video editing, and more.

MARKETING INTERNS WANTED:

Houston Cinema Arts Society is currently looking to fill three volunteer internship positions.

MARKETING INTERN
The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Manager and HCAF16 Marketing Assistant with all marketing initiatives.  This includes, but is not limited to, social media, street team efforts, market research, event calendar posting, etc.  Must have an interest in film and/or marketing.  Must be enrolled at as a full-time student at a college or university.  Major in Marketing is a plus.  Must be able to commit between 10 - 15 hours a week.  Must have reliable transportation.  Looking for creative types with a strong desire to learn!  Must be proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
The Graphic Design Intern will assist the Marketing Manager, Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Operations Manager with all graphic design needs.  This includes, but is not limited to, design of printed promo materials, marketing / sponsorship decks, social media assets, website assets, etc.  Must be currently enrolled in a graphic design program as a full-time student at a college or university.  An interest in film is a plus!  Must be able to commit between 10 - 15 hours a week.  Must have reliable transportation.  Looking for creative types with a strong desire to learn!  Must be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Professional.

VIDEO EDITING INTERN
The Video Editing Intern will assist the Marketing Manager, Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Operations Manager with all video editing needs.  This includes, but is not limited to, editing sizzle reels, social media content, Festival promo videos, etc.  Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university.  Major in film / video is a plus.  Must be able to commit between 10 - 15 hours a week.  Must have reliable transportation.  Looking for creative types with a strong desire to learn!  Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Software such as Premiere Pro and After Effects.
