What do I receive if my submission is a finalist but not a prize winner?
You will receive recognition as an “Official Selection” of CineSpace and your film will be screened at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival, November 10 - 17, 2016.
Can I submit more than one entry to CineSpace?
Yes, you may submit as many entries as you would like.
Who will be credited if my short is chosen as a finalist?
The director or co-directors will be credited for all finalist. Producers will not be listed in the announcement of finalist.
Will NASA audio content qualify for the 10% rule?
All shorts must contain a minimum of 10% of video footage or still photos from the NASA archives. Audio content may be included but will not count toward the 10% rule.
What resolution does my film need to be?
The resolution of submitted works may be created in Standard Definition or High Definition format, however, Cinespace screens all selections in 1080p format. If your film was not created in 1080p format, you must convert it to 1080p prior to submitting.
